I have a funny memory to add about Mandy, and I hope it will make others who knew her smile in this time of sadness. Before a Chelsea game once, we all met up in the pub. Mandy, generous as always, went to get a round of drinks. She brought the tray back to our group of friends, and suddenly the tray fell from her hands, spilling an array of alcoholic beverages! Most of it went over my friend Siobhan and I, and some over my daughter Victoria. We all laughed so much and were teasing Mandy asking if she thought she was David 'Calamity' James :-) And the funniest thing was that, having wiped our clothes dry, me and Siobhan smelt like old soaks and got some odd looks when people smelt us on the train home!
